Origins launches two new formulas for acne-prone skin by the end of June 2011.

Origins has updated at end of June 2011 its Spot Remover as the new Origins Super Spot Remover Acne/Blemish Treatment Gel formula, together with a brand new product, Origins Spot Remover Treatment Acne/Blemish Treatment Pads.

The formulas target skins of all ages, and are formulated, as usual, with naturally-derived active ingredients. The formulas are claimed to fight acne, visibly fade scars and prevent future breakouts.

Origins Super Spot Remover Acne/Blemish Treatment Gel :

This formula contains the following active ingredients :

– 1.5% Salicylic Acid : famous anti-acne ingredient, this level of active allow the product to be sold as an OTC product in the US. Together with Cucumber Extract and Apple Extract, they are claimed to “fade scars and hyperpigmentation”.

– Caffeine and Red Algae, said to have anti-irritating properties

– Oregano and Essential Oils for a “rejuvenating scent”

Origins Spot Remover Acne/Blemish Treatment Pads :

These pads are sold in jars of 60 units, and are are recommended to be used twice daily. They are soaked with a formula containing the following active ingredients :

– 1.5% Salicylic Acid

– Saw Palmetto extract, claimed to “inhibit excess oil production”
