Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a foaming surfactant. Compared to classic Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a mild, surfate-free, high-foaming, anionic and non-ethoxylated. It is consequently a good option to avoid SLES in cleansing formulas, but much more expensive.
